Preventative health: Proactive wellness that works for men

Men are 32% less likely than women to visit a doctor and are statistically more likely to delay seeking care until a condition becomes severe. Meanwhile, men face higher risks for life-threatening illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers - conditions that account for the majority of premature deaths worldwide.

So, what’s stopping men from engaging with their health, and how can employers bridge the gap?

This session will uncover:

  • Barriers to men’s health engagement: Explore the cultural, societal, and workplace challenges that discourage men from accessing care.
  • Encouraging early action: Learn how preventative strategies can reduce health risks and address key issues like diabetes, mental health struggles, and prostate cancer.
  • Creating healthier workplaces: Organisations implementing proactive health initiatives have seen up to a 27% reduction in sick-leave absenteeism and increased employee engagement.

Join us for practical tips, real-world examples, and insights to help HR leaders champion men’s health, drive retention, and build a thriving workplace culture.
